Outside the wall

In an earlier post about a typical day, we spotted an amazing “bubble trike” but it zipped by too fast to get a picture. Luckily we've since encountered many others. They come in red and green, with shiny black tops:

Here are a couple of trikes pretending to be cars. We are not fooled.

While visiting the Inner Mongolian city of Chifeng, we noticed a style of cargo trike where the load goes in the front, popular among Chifeng street vendors. They seemed to be retrofitted from regular bicycles.

Finally, we snapped a steamroller trike before, but here is an even bigger one, spotted in Beijing:

三轮车万岁！Long live the trike!
